Dear Parents,
On Friday of this week to mark the occasion of the Royal Wedding children may come to school dressed in red, white and blue. The children have baked cakes, pre-school have enjoyed a royal tea, and all classes are doing various activities throughout the week.
Can all permission slips and money for the trip to the Forum to see the Ugly Duckling please be brought in as soon as possible as we need to confirm numbers?
As the children have really enjoyed playing on their bikes and scooters they may continue to bring these for the rest of the summer term, if they remember their helmets.
If the weather is sunny please make sure that your child has sun cream on before coming to school and to bring their sun hat with them.
We are making a slight change to our Uniform from September this year. For PE the children will need an easy wash royal blue t-shirt with school logo available from Identity in Barrow or Rig Out in Dalton the cost will be approximately £4.00 and navy shadow striped shorts.
Mrs. Kerr hopes to be returning to School after half term. She has decided to retire at the end of this academic year and I am sure we will all miss her. If anyone would like to send in a donation towards a leaving present this would be much appreciated and may be handed in at the office. Many thanks.
