Dear Parents,

 

Many thanks to Pupils, Staff, Governors and Parents for their kind generosity, be it time or donations for our Christmas Fair 2014.  We raised £1158.21.  This money will go towards our outside area redevelopment and school equipment.

 

Christmas is approaching fast.  On Sunday 30^th November, it is the switch on of Dalton’s Annual Christmas Lights and the opening of the Tree Festival.  Arrangements are that children should come in fancy dress (warm) and meet at Tudor Square with their adults at 5.15pm.  Cllr Greaves intention is that pupils and their families should meet at the Square and walk to Church together following a banner with the School’s name on.

 

School Staff will not be in attendance as this event is not organised by School but the Town Council.

 

I believe there will be a “Frozen theme” with songs dancing etc.  Let us hope the weather is kind and we wish the event well! The children will have a lovely time!

 

The theme of the Tree Festival at Dalton St. Mary’s Church this year is “Television programmes past and present”.  Chapel Street Infants and Nursery Tree (No., 32) is based on the CBeebies programme “Katie Morag”.  The children have made some wonderful peg dolls, sheep, teddies, tractors, stamps etc to adorn the tree.

 

Please support the Festival as it helps raise lots of money for a variety of charities.
