Dear Parents,
Many thanks for sending your children in period costume today and to those boys and girls who discovered fascinating facts about their family during the War Years 1939-45.
The children and Staff look fantastic and have had a wonderful week reliving times from the past.
We will endeavour to put as many photographs on the website as possible, so that you can share in your child’s experiences.
I wanted to confirm that School will close on THURSDAY 18TH JULY AT 3.00PM instead of Friday the 19th July at 2.00pm. You may remember that when we originally issued our dates to you it was provisional. The Governors felt that due to the absolute disruption throughout the school, and the painters coming in immediately to try and complete the project, it was appropriate to finish on the Thursday rather than the Friday so that Staff can pack up, move furniture etc on the Friday. I do hope this does not cause too much inconvenience.
Just a reminder, as your child has probably told you already, if your child comes to school on a scooter can they stop scooting at the school gates, as I have had complaints about pupils running into other pupils and adults whilst they are having fun! Safety is of paramount importance.
