Dear Parents,

 

Many thanks for your kind donations towards Comic Relief on Friday.  We made £514.27 which was fantastic.  This year’s Comic Relief total so far is an unbelievable £75,107,851!

 

Open Evening is on Monday 25th March 3.00pm to 6.00pm for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.  Notices for individual appointments will be on the classroom doors on Thursday 21^st March so that you may sign up for an appointment to discuss your child’s progress should you so wish.

 

We would also like to invite you to our Easter Service at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday 26^th March at 9.30am.  You are welcome to join us either walking to Church (leaving school at 9.15am) or meeting at the Church for the service itself.  Donations may be left in the Church should you so which.

 

We are delighted that one of our past pupils Rebecca Hillman has been chosen to represent Girl Guiding Cumbria South.  She is fundraising for an International project in Mexico where she will take part in building a community project.  She has to raise £2000 for the trip.

 

We are holding an Easter Raffle and guess the last two digits on a £50 note to help her.  Raffle tickets are 50p each.  You are welcome to send monies in with the slip overleaf or purchase them each morning in the school yard.

 

Many thanks for your support, and should your own child be in a similar position in the future, we would be able to support their fundraising efforts.
