Dear Parents/Carers,
On Tuesday 19th July Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes will be visiting South Lakes Safari Zoo.
We will require parent help on the day to comply with the correct adult to child ratios for this visit. Please complete the slip below and let Mrs. Rigg in the school office know if you are willing and available to accompany us on the day.
There should not be any cost involved and we will not have time to visit the shop. Lunch will be provided for the children on the day. Please send them with a bag that can be carried on their back and a drink in a named bottle.
We will walk up to the Zoo arriving at 9.45am in time for it opening at 10am and will return to school in the afternoon for normal collection time at 3.00pm. The children will need to be appropriately dressed in footwear that is suitable to walk some distance and in clothing that is suitable for the weather. Please be sure to apply sun cream to your child in the morning if it is hot and send them with a sun hat.
Please return the slip below giving permission for your child to go on this trip and indicate if
you can accompany us. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact school.
