Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our All Creatures Great and Small topic we are planning a trip for Pre-School Class to South Lakes Safari Zoo on Tuesday 21st June in the morning.
We will require considerable parent help in order to comply with the correct adult to child
ratios for this visit. Please complete the slip below and let your child’s class teacher or Mrs. Rigg in the school office know if you are willing and available to accompany us on the day.
There should not be any cost involved and we will not have time to visit the shop.
We will walk up to the Zoo arriving at 9.45am in time for it opening at 10am and will return to school in time for lunch. The children will need to be appropriately dressed in footwear that is suitable to walk some distance and in clothing that will keep them warm and dry outdoors. However, the trip will be weather dependent and will be cancelled if the weather forecast is persistent heavy rain. A change of clothes is advised for those children staying all day.
