Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our Natural Worlds topic, we are planning a trip for Nursery, Pre-School and
Reception class to South Lakes Safari Zoo on Wednesday 26th June in the morning.
We will require considerable parent help in order to comply with the correct adult to child
ratios for this visit. Please complete the slip below and let your child’s class teacher or the
school secretary know if you are willing and available to accompany us on the day.
There should not be any cost involved and we will not have time to visit the shop.
We will walk up to the zoo arriving as it opens at 10am and will return to school in time for
lunch. The children will need to be appropriately dressed in footwear that is suitable to walk
some distance and in clothing that will keep them warm and dry outdoors. However, the trip
will be weather dependent and will be cancelled if the weather forecast is persistent heavy
rain. A change of clothes is advised for those children staying all day.
Please return the slip below giving permission for your child to go on this trip and indicate if
you can accompany us.
