Dear Parents,
Welcome back to the final term this academic year. Please find a list attached of events this term.
Congratulations to all the winners in our Easter Egg/Easter Hat Competitions, all the entries were excellent so thank you for your participation in these events. We raised £79.50 which has been sent off to St. Mary’s Hospice.
If anyone still has any sponsor money for the skipping challenge can this be sent into school as soon as possible so we can send the final cheque to the Jump Rope for Heart Foundation. Just over £500 has been raised to date.
Can I please remind you that the children all need a PE kit in school each day including pumps that fit as we do go outside for PE on some occasions. Please make sure that everything is labelled with your child’s name and that no earrings are worn. Can you please make sure that your child’s name is in their sweatshirts and cardigans as well please.
If the days are sunny please make sure that your child has sun cream on before they come to school and that they bring a named sun hat with them.
A group of children from each class takes part in a cooking lesson each week. They make enough for the whole class to sample. We are asking parents to make a contribution of £2 per term towards the cost of ingredients. Please send all money in a named envelope.
