Dear Parents,
Welcome back after the half term break. Just a reminder that the children’s Halloween Disco is on Wednesday of this week from 3.00pm until 5.00pm and the Reading/Phonics talk for parents is at 4.15pm to 5.00pm.
Pudsey Bear will be visiting school on Monday the 13th of November, so we have decided to hold our Children in Need Day on Monday instead of Thursday. We will also be having a themed lunch on this day. The children may come to school in fancy dress/spots for a donation towards the Appeal. We will have Pudsey Badges on sale very soon.
Poppies are now on sale if your child would like to purchase one. We will be walking to the Cenotaph on Friday the 10th of November leaving school at 10.40am, everyone is welcome to join us.
Both these charities are collecting the old £1 coins if you still have any.
Can any Boxes of Hope, or any items for these please be brought in as soon as possible.
If any parents have any time to come into school to listen to readers or help in the classroom, even on an occasional basis, please see the class teacher. This does not have to be in your own child’s class.
