FOR YEAR 2 CHILDREN ONLY
Our school has been selected to take part in the Furness Schools U.Dance Festival 2017. Your child’s class will represent the school in the Festival at the forum on Tuesday 28th March 2017.
The children will be transported by coach to the venue on the afternoon of the performance to take part in a technical rehearsal. The coach will leave school at 4:20pm.
The children will need to take a picnic tea to be eaten at the theatre. The children need to be collected from the theatre after the event at approximately 8.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £6.50 and go on sale on 9th January 2017. They can be bought from the forum office 01229 820000. We advise that you buy your tickets as soon as you can.
Traditionally they sell out extremely quickly, as there will be 12 schools performing during the evening.
There will be a professional film-maker filming the performance. It is essential that all parents give their consent for their child to be filmed.
Please sign the slip attached if you consent for your child to be filmed and for the DVD to be available for public sale.
If we have every parent’s consent then we can have our performance included on the DVD and you will have the option to purchase this for £10.
Please also state on the slip below if you would like to purchase a DVD and attach a cheque for £10 with the slip.
The children will be wearing their red, yellow or orange lets create t-shirts for the performance.
Can you please send these into school as soon as possible so that we can order any additional shirts needed.
