Dear Parents,

 

The Governors of Chapel Street Infants and Nursery School have, after considering all the options available, decided that the time is now right to appoint a full time Head Teacher for our school. 

 

The School has the benefit of excellent leadership skills within the existing staffing team, and are confident that they have high quality experience and knowledge to take the school on the next stage of its development.  Due to the financial constraints within the Education system we have decided that the best course of action is to advertise the position for an internal Appointment.  This will of course give all members of the teaching staff the opportunity to apply.  We think this course will be the most cost effective.  The interview process will be based against the National Standards of Excellence for Head Teachers and will be a robust process to ensure we attain the right head teacher for our school.
