Dear Parents,
Year 1 will be having a Pirate themed week from the 23rd of May.
They will be having various themed activities throughout the week. On Wednesday the
25th May the children may come to school dressed as a pirate, if they wish. Please do not
go to any expense a stripey top and headscarf would suffice. They will be having a
Treasure Hunt around School in preparation for a writing task on the Thursday.

PS. There will be a meeting on Thursday the 19th of May at 5.30pm for Year 1 parents. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the National Phonics Screening that will be administered the week beginning 13th of June. We will also provide resources and be able to answer any questions you may have.
