Dear Parents,

 

Our Nursery and Reception classes Christmas Play this year is “One Christmas Night”.  We would like all the children to dress up as a “shepherd” a “person from Bethlehem” or an “Angel”.  The costumes are very simple but we would be grateful if you could provide one for your child.

 

The person of Bethlehem and shepherd outfits, comprise of a simple tabard with belt and headdress.  The costume needs to be brought to School on Friday 4th December in a named bag, or on a named coathanger.  (Not before please due to lack of space).  The Angel is a white dress (no wings) and a tinsel headdress. 

 

Over the page are some suggestions of how to make them, and there are some samples to view in school.  Don’t go to a lot of expense.  They may be made out of old sheets, curtains and towels etc.

 

I’m sure they will all look fantastic for the show.  Many thanks for your help.

 

The performance by Nursery and Reception will be on Wednesday 9^th December at 11.00am.  We look forward to seeing you all then!
