Dear Parents,
Welcome to our new school year. It has been lovely to see so many smiley faces around school and the children look really smart, thank you.
The building works around school have been completed ahead of schedule, and school is now looking super. Many of our wonderful staff have been in School throughout the holiday to ensure we were ready to open in time. A big thank you to them!
We welcome Miss Barnes our new Year 2 teacher and we are pleased that Mrs. Lett has returned and will be working in Nursery.
The class Teachers are as follows:-
Nursery - Mrs. Long and Mrs. Lett
Reception - Miss Ambrose and Mrs Kerr
Year 1 - Miss Burns
Year 2 - Mrs. Fuller and Miss Barnes.
They will be supported by:-
Early Years - Mrs. Toal, Miss Ayres, Mrs. Kavanagh
Year 1 - Ms. Hunter and Mrs. Steel
Year 2 - Mrs. Healey and Mrs. Steel
Mrs. Trainer and Mrs. Clarke will continue to work throughout School
We are still running Breakfast and After School Clubs. Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am onwards, and your child will be offered cereal, toast and a drink. The cost will be £2.50 per day payable in advance. If your child arrives from 8.30am (ie too late for breakfast) then the cost will be £1.50 per day.
After School Club runs from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Children will be offered a drink and a snack and be able to take part in various activities. The cost for the session is £7 per day.
If you wish your child to stay just from 3.00pm to 4.00pm the cost will be £3 per session.
Booking forms available from the office, payment in advance required please.
May I please remind all pupils to bring a drink in a named container to have with their lunch.
In the near future we are hoping to arrange a textile recycle day so please think about this if you are doing any sorting at home. Further information will follow shortly.
We are at present compiling our Diary of events for the forthcoming term. We shall let you know these as soon as they are all confirmed.
