Following a visit to School from Kate Jenkins, Assistant in Charge at Dalton Library, she has asked me to remind Parents of the “Summer Reading Challenge” at all Cumbria Libraries for all pupils.

Just a note to say that we are finally undergoing our £30,000 refurbishment of our main playground (Primary Spaces Grant). Naturally we wish to minimise any inconvenience to Parents and Pupils. Weather permitting the safety surfacing will be laid on Monday 13th July.
There will be no access via the bottom playground gate until the surfacing is dry.
Nursery will be able to enjoy their treat on Wednesday 15th July. We will be having a Nursery Fun Day as in previous years, to celebrate their time in Nursery.
