Dear Parents,
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy, safe and restful holiday and to say thank you for all your help and support over the past year. Good luck to all our Year 2 and EYFS pupils who are transferring to other schools after the holidays, we will miss them.
Sadly we say goodbye Mrs. Shannon and Mrs. Molyneux whose contracts have ended. Mrs. Shannon, however, will hopefully return as a supply teacher when needed. We wish them good luck and many thanks for all their hard work and commitment to Chapel Street Infants and Nursery School.

Many thanks for the sponsorship monies being brought in from the duck hunt. The amount raised to date is £571.14. Should you have any more sponsor money please bring it to the office as soon as possible. Special thanks to Mrs. Walton for arranging the event.
Congratulations to Harry Lupton and Gracie Smith who were the winners of the £15 uniform voucher in our raffle.
We hope the work on our kitchen area will be completed in the summer holidays and that the children will enjoy a hot school meal in September. Please find enclosed a sample menu of the meals that will be on offer to the children.
Just a reminder please to return any reports for copying, maths games, library and reading books.

INSET DAYS- 1st and 2nd September 2014, 5th January 2015 (Cumbria County Council recommended dates)
Year 1 and 2- School starts Wednesday 3rd September 2014, 8.55a.m.
Reception starters- Thursday 4th September 2014, 9.10a.m. or 1.10 p.m.
Returning Nursery pupils – Monday 8th September 2014, 8.45 a.m, or 12.15p.m.
Thanks also to all Pupils, Parents, Staff and Governors for their help, humour, commitment and hard work during what has seemed a very long academic year!
