Dear Parents
Your child had their first “hot dinner” experience at School today. It was quite hectic, but we hopefully will iron out the few teething problems we experienced for September.
We anticipate that all children in September will bring their own drink (sensible, none leaking bottle please) to have with their hot meal.
A big thank you to Dowdales kitchen staff, our midday supervisors and school staff for their help and patience.
We anticipate that all pupils will take advantage of a daily hot meal and pudding in the next academic year.
The pupils and staff feedback was excellent, today’s choices – lasagne, pasta, jacket potatoes, chocolate brownie, yogurt or fruit were yummy!
