Dear Parents,
Thank you very much for your support of Children in Need Day. The children looked fantastic and they were extremely relaxed all day in their pyjamas and onesies! We have sent the sum of £335 to the charity, so a big Thank You to all of you who donated and bought wristbands.
Just a reminder to park safely in the vicinity of school as this is monitored at all times.
There is increased vigilance at the moment from the Police as part of their recent operation to raise awareness of safe parking practices.
Tickets are going well for the fair but we would be grateful for any donations for the raffle or tombola stalls or helpers.
Our Nativity this year will be ‘Whoops a Daisy Angel’ and once again pupils in years 1 and 2 may come dressed as Angels, Shepherds, or People of Bethlehem. We will send more information about this later. The Reception classes will be provided with a costume from school.
May I also remind you, due to the change in the weather, to provide your child with a named hat, scarf, gloves etc, and to keep to the paths in the event of snow and ice. Should school need to be closed for any reason, especially in the event of snow and the possibility that emergency vehicles will not be able to attend our School in a reasonable time, notice of closures will be via –

Closures will be kept to a minimum, but the safety of the Pupils, Parents and Staff is a priority. Judgements for closures are made as early as possible so I hope you bear with us.
