Dear Parents,
Each year we have an “Arts” or “Arts and Culture Week” which this year begins on Monday the 4th November. Previously most of the children purchased a “Lets Create” T-shirt to wear during the Arts and Culture weeks instead of their white polo shirt. The children can wear these all week in place of their uniform. The T-shirts from previous years can all still be worn.
If you would like to order a new one for your child to wear during this year’s events, please fill in the slip below, and return as soon as possible, with your remittance. The T-shirts will not be in school until the 4th of November, but will be handed out that day. They will be in various colours, but can you please state which size you would like. (We suggest you order a larger one than needed so they can wear it each year!) The T-shirts cost £3.50 each, and will have the “Lets Create” logo embroidered on them.
This year each class will be focusing on Arts and Culture in a certain country. Your child may like to find out something about that country during half term. If your child has any artefacts they would like to bring in to show we would be happy to see them.
Nursery - will focus on
Class 1 - will focus on
Class 2 - will focus on
Class 3 - will focus on
Class 4 - will focus on
Class 5 - will focus on
Class 6 - will focus on
During the week the children will also be creating 3D Angels for the Christmas Festival.
Over the last few years we have also liked to participate in a community project, ie, the rhino trail, Winter warmth etc.
This year we are working with Poole Townsend, which involves the children designing a “New Home” card. These will be sent home on Monday the 4th of November for the children to do at home and then be returned by Thursday the 7th of November.
Many thanks for your support.
