17th July, 2013

Dear Parents,

It is the end of the school year yet again, the academic year seems to have flown by and for once we have had some lovely summer days, long may they continue!

Many thanks to all parents and family members for all your continued support throughout the year, be it helping in the classroom, helping us on visits/celebrations or passing on your valuable feedback to the Staff and Governors.

We raised £53 from our uniform raffle.  The lucky recipient for the voucher from Rig Out was Aiden in class 2.

May I take this opportunity to wish pupils transferring to other schools best wishes and good luck.  I’m sure they will settle quickly and continue to try their very best.  We will miss them.  Many thanks also to the Staff and Governors for their hard work and diligence, not to mention their good humour in times of turmoil especially as we prepare for the painting throughout the school.  I hope school looks much brighter and fresher in the future.  The outside areas Phase 2 and 3 are proving to be a problem as we once again are trying to secure funding and approach companies for best value.

Just a reminder please to return any reports for copying, maths games, library and reading books.

School closes at 3.00pm THURSDAY 18TH JULY.  School reopens Thursday 5th September (Year 1 and Year 2 only) at 8.55a.m.

New Reception start on Friday 6th September.

It just remains to say have a happy holiday, keep safe and let’s hope the sun continues to shine.

Best wishes and thanks once again to Mrs. Lett as she embarks on her “full time mummy” role. We will miss her greatly!

Best wishes and thanks once again for your support.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Helen R. Watt
