Dear Parents,
Welcome back to School. I hope you all had a relaxing break. Pupils may wear Summer uniform this term (see list over) but bear in mind that the temperature is still cool and your child will need a jumper/cardigan (with school logo) and a coat every day. Sensible footwear also please, no trainers, jellies, clogs or sandals with high heels and slippy soles.
Many thanks to those parents who donated monies in our Easter Raffle and £50 note game. £116.55 was raised which will help Rebecca Hillman raise funds for her Mexican Community Project with the South Cumbria Guides.

If any of you could spare a tube of toothpaste, please bring them to school within the next week so that we can pass them on to Meg.
Enclosed are some important dates for your diary (these might be subject to change) which were correct at the time of writing this letter.
Please note that we are closed on Thursday 2nd May for local elections and on Monday 6th May for the Bank holiday.

The official School uniform is:
GREY pinafore, skirt or trousers, long or short.
ROYAL BLUE sweatshirt/cardigan with School logo
WHITE polo shirt
GREY or WHITE ankle socks, knee socks or tights
Suitable flat heeled shoes – boys preferably rip and strip (Velcro) and not laces.
Suitable outdoor coat
SUMMER TERM ONLY
Girls may wear a BLUE AND WHITE checked or striped dress
and a ROYAL BLUE Cardigan with school logo.
For P.E. the children should wear a white round necked T shirt, navy shorts and slip
on plimsolls.
All clothing must be clearly marked. Name tapes are available through School.
The uniform can be obtained at most local clothes shops. Sweatshirts with the School name are available from “The New Rig Out" in
EARRINGS:-these can be dangerous in School as they can be caught when dressing and undressing. WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT EARRINGS ARE NOT WORN IN SCHOOL. THEY CANNOT BE WORN DURING PE AND SWIMMING. This also applies to all other items of jewellery.
